I have wanted Annie Sloan Chalk Paint for over a year now…every time I saw a great furniture redo and read what they used {usually some Annie Sloan Chalk Paint} I wanted it even more. Right before Mother’s Day I decided that’s what I wanted {I have all boys…I tell them what I want and usually buy it and then let them give it to me…fun, huh?} I was all set to order some on line and then checked once again if there were any local retailers. Every time I had in the past, there weren’t any but I thought why not try once more…and….oh JOY!!!! There was one less than 15 minutes from my house. I am so glad I checked because I met one of the nicest gals {Elaine}…she was awesome and gave me so many tips for using my new paint {as soon as she gets her website up I’ll update this page}.
So, now it’s time to see what’s in the bag.
First out ~ a great book ~Quick and Easy Paint Transformations: 50 Step-by-Step Ways to Makeover Your Home for Next to Nothing ~ and some cheesecloth {don’t you just love how it’s wrapped ~ raffia bow ♥♥♥♥♥}. The book has so many ideas and easy to understand explanations for how to achieve the looks shown.
Next out ~ my paints and wax. I chose Pure White, Paris Grey, Duck Egg and the clear soft wax. I already completed one project {as soon as I get some pictures I like I’ll share it with you} and have so many more in mind. The products were easy to use, really easy, and I am so happy I finally made the decision to take a dive and get some…and so glad I found such a wonderful retailer ~ Hi Elaine!
