The days of gathering flowers from my garden to use in bouquets around my house have passed and I find that I am missing the delicate details in their beauty.
While grocery shopping the other night at one of my favorite local markets I stopped at their floral department - the best part of the store in my opinion and I spied a lovely bouquet of spray roses with an antique look to them and another bouquet of Hypericum berries. Rather than fight the urge I succumbed and bought them both.
Once I brought them home I had entertained the thought of placing them in low vases across the dining room table but then I remembered the silver faux trophy I purchased a few months ago and thought that would be the perfect complement to this pinkish blast of beauty.
Since I wasn't sure of the integrity of the trophy I placed the flowers in a Ball Mason Jar and then placed that in the trophy.
I love how it turned out and I am hoping they'll last at least a week - we shall see!
