Fresh Baked Blueberry Muffins

When I was a kid growing up my Father absolutely LOVED Country Music and his Mother’s baking (not always in that order) so to me good food and country music go together.  While I never tasted any of my Grandmother’s homemade cinnamon rolls or muffins made with fresh-picked berries I do create images in my mind of how wonderful they must have been.  Now, I am NOT like my Grandma (I wish I were).  She raised 8 children (7 of them were boys) and baked and cooked daily but I on the other hand have no problem taking shortcuts at times especially when it comes to cooking for my 3 boys (I know…I’m a wimp compared to her!).  My guys love fresh muffins – who doesn’t?- but I don’t always feel like baking from scratch at 5 a.m. and that’s where Martha White Muffin mixes come to the rescue.  You can make beautiful and delicious muffins from mix to mouth in less than 30 minutes.  If you haven’t tried any of their mixes you definitely should.
