Hello friends and welcome to this week’s Project Inspire{d}.  How have you all been? I’ve been a little busy, nothing too much, which is nice.

How To Get the Look of Weathered and Aged Wood - Pallet Wood Faux Fireplace at www.cupcakesandcrinoline.com

I did a fun post about how to age new wood so that it looks like beautiful worn and aged barn wood.  I used pallet wood from a kit – it’s called Pallet Wall in a Box and it is absolutely wonderful to work with.  If you don’t have access to old barn wood for projects this would be a great alternative.  I used my treated wood to make a Faux Fireplace and I’ll be sharing all of the details of how I did that in a future post – you can get a small peak at the fireplace now at the bottom of the Weathered Wood post.  I haven’t really styled it yet, this was just a preliminary picture, but I’m excited to finally have a mantle to decorate.  This will do until I get the real thing. 😉

So that’s what I was up to last week – now it’s time for you to share what you’ve been doing.Join the Project Inspired Link Party Mondays 8 PM ET at cupcakesandcrinoline.com
