Welcome to this week’s Project Inspired! A weekly link party where you can share your creativity with an engaged audience who loves to be inspired!
So how has your week been? The weather here has been amazing, thankfully, and while I haven’t had much of a chance to enjoy the outdoors, I have had the windows open with fresh air and sunshine streaming in.
I have my floors almost finished….I am managing to make an easy task hard but I’m doing it myself and I have to measure, measure again, go downstairs and outside, make my cuts, come back upstairs, install the plank and start all over again 😉 It’s not hard but as far as a one-woman job it is time-consuming and I was having to drive back-and-forth to the hospital to visit my husband so I can’t be too hard on myself but sheesh, I wish I was done!
I wasn’t sure if I shared a picture of the new roof with you or not (I’m a bit befuddled right now!) but just in case, here is the view from my kitchen of the roof on the sunroom. The main house has the same roof I like the different colors and I can’t believe what a difference a vented ridge cap has made as far as heat in the house. It still gets hot but it is nowhere near as hot as it used to be.
And, here’s the new front porch. It’s much bigger than the old porch and I really like the steps. We have to wait until the fall to stain it so this is how it will look for the rest of the summer.
And here are the features from last week – 12 Ways to Spruce Up Your Outdoor Space!
So, enough about me and now onto YOU!
We can’t wait to see what you’ve been creating!
