  • 3 Spools of coordinating ribbon 25 yards each

  • Cut ribbon at an angle into 3 foot and 6 foot lengths in equal amounts. You will need 3 separate ribbons for every bundle so if you are making three 3-foot bundles, you will want to cut 3 of ribbon one, 3 of ribbon two, and 3 of ribbon three which will yield three 3-foot long bundles. I hope this made sense, if not, just let me know!
  • Once you have your bundle (I only cut one at a time so I'm not confused and think this process actually goes quicker than cutting a bunch all at once), stack the ribbon with the widest ribbon being the first layer, then the next widest ribbon stacked on top of that and finally, the least wide ribbon on top.
  • Grab and pinch the bundle in the center (lengthwise - see video) and push the center of the bundle down into the tree as close to the trunk as possible.
  • Gently separate each ribbon and "poof" allowing the ribbon to gently flow along the branches.
  • Be sure to use different bundle lengths (3 foot, 6 foot, and more if you desire) to achieve a full and flowing result.
  • The addition of the ribbon helps to counteract any bare spots in the tree and adds a lot of volume to the appearance of the tree.

Order for Decorating:
Lights first, ribbon second, ornaments last.
