  • 1 can Grands biscuits
  • 1 tub Cool Whip
  • 1 quart Strawberries
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • Spray Oil

How to Prepare Strawberries and Strawberry Syrup

  • Let's start by cleaning the strawberries to remove any grime.
  • Fill a large bowl with four parts water to one part white vinegar (example: 4 cups water to 1 cup white vinegar). Place the berries in the bowl so that they are completely submerged in the vinegar/water mixture and soak for 20 minutes.
  • Use a colander to rinse the strawberries thoroughly under cool water and allow to drain.

How to Make a Simple Strawberry Syrup

  • Remove the berry stems and slice the berries into even pieces.
  • Place berries in a bowl and top with ¼ cup of sugar using more or less to taste. Toss gently to evenly coat.
  • Place the berries in the refrigerator and allow to chill while making the "shortcakes".

How to Make Canned Refrigerator Biscuits in the Air Fryer

  • Spray the air fryer basket with oil so that the biscuits won't stick.
  • Lay the biscuits in a single layer on the air fryer basket. Leave room between biscuits.
  • Air fry at 330° degrees for 6 minutes.
  • Gently loosen biscuits and flip if desired.
  • Continue to air fry another 2 to 3 minutes until the biscuits are evenly browned and cooked through.
  • If baking smaller biscuits cook for 5 minutes and then another 2 minutes.

Assemble the Shortcakes

  • Gently pull each biscuit apart in twos (a top and a bottom) and place the bottom of biscuit on a plate.
