Hands On Time:5 minutes
Total Time:5 minutes

Supplies

  • Hot Cocoa Mix
  • Jet-Puffed Mallow Bits
  • Holiday Sprinkles, chocolate chips - any type of topping that will fit through the ornament opening
  • Funnel (optional but recommended)
  • Ribbon (optional)Scissors for cutting ribbon

Instructions

  • Gather all your supplies.
  • Remove the cap from the top of the ornament gently and set aside.
  • Once the ornaments are dry, open one packet of hot cocoa mix and pour into the ornament.  This is your first layer.
  • Wash the ornaments with soap and water. Rinse well and allow to dry thoroughly. I placed mine upside down on a drying rack to dry.
  • A funnel is not essential, but it makes the process much easier. If you don't have one on hand, you can always use a piece of paper rolled into a cone shape. I kept the ornament in an upright position by placing it up against a glass ramekin but anything you can lean it against will work to hold it still.
  • Next, add your sprinkles, chocolate chips, etc. Top with mini marshmallows. Replace ornament cap.
  • Cut your ribbon into pieces and tie each ribbon in a bow at the top.
  • You can also add other decorations such as small bells or tiny pinecones to make them look even more festive! Add a gift tag if desired!
