Instant Pot Ham and Cabbage, and Potatoes

Easy to make Instant Pot Ham and Cabbage and Potatoes Dinner - can be made in an Electric Pressure Cooker / Instant Pot. Only 3 ingredients (not counting water). A delicious main dish that's even better the next day and a great way to use up leftover ham.

Ingredients

  • 3 pound ham bone-in is best, not flavored, cubed
  • 1 head cabbage approximately 2 pounds, cut into chunks
  • 2 pounds potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Layer ham, potatoes, and cabbage in the bottom of the pot.
    3 pound ham, 2 pounds potatoes, 1 head cabbage
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Add 1 cup of water to pot.

  • Put lid on pot.
  • Set to cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  • Allow pressure to release naturally or use the quick release method 15 minutes after cooking is completed.
  • Serve!

Notes

  • I have tested this recipe in my Instant Pot but you can use any 6-8 quart electric pressure cooker.
