Slow Cooker Candy Chocolate-Covered Peanut Clusters

Homemade Slow Cooker Candy. These chocolate-covered peanut clusters taste delicious, can be made up to a month ahead of time and frozen. They are perfect for gift giving and holiday entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 1 16-ounce jar dry-roasted peanuts
  • 1 16-ounce container cocktail peanuts
  • 32- ounce bag candy melts
  • 2 cups 12-ounce package semisweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 4-ounce package German chocolate baking squares, broken into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Combine peanuts,
    1 16-ounce jar dry-roasted peanuts, 1 16-ounce container cocktail peanuts
  • candy melts,
    32- ounce bag candy melts
  • and chocolate (first 5 ingredients) in slow cooker.
    2 cups 12-ounce package semisweet chocolate morsels, 1 4-ounce package German chocolate baking squares, broken into pieces
  • Cover and cook on low 1 to 2 hours or until melted.
  • Stir chocolate mixture and add vanilla, stirring once again.
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto wax paper-lined baking sheets. Let stand until firm. You may need to place these in the refrigerator for a while. Once firm, store in an airtight food container. {These containers are awesome, by the way. They can go from the freezer to the oven and are BPA-Free).

  • Can be frozen.
  • To make a smaller batch simply cut the recipe in half and monitor cooking time.
