Homemade Slow Cooker Candy. These chocolate-covered peanut clusters taste delicious, can be made up to a month ahead of time and frozen. They are perfect for gift giving and holiday entertaining.
1 16-ounce jar dry-roasted peanuts, 1 16-ounce container cocktail peanuts
candy melts,
32- ounce bag candy melts
and chocolate (first 5 ingredients) in slow cooker.
2 cups 12-ounce package semisweet chocolate morsels, 1 4-ounce package German chocolate baking squares, broken into pieces
Cover and cook on low 1 to 2 hours or until melted.
Stir chocolate mixture and add vanilla, stirring once again.
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto wax paper-lined baking sheets. Let stand until firm. You may need to place these in the refrigerator for a while. Once firm, store in an airtight food container. {These containers are awesome, by the way. They can go from the freezer to the oven and are BPA-Free).
