A Simple Noodle Pudding ~ Kugel for the Masses

The original recipe has been altered slightly by me ~ I alter and tweak almost every recipe!

Ingredients

  • 16 ounce package broad noodles
  • 7 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ stick unsalted butter melted and cooled
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp. salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking pan with butter.
  • Cook noodles according to directions on the package. When done cooking drain and rinse with cold water.
  • In a large bowl whisk together eggs, sugar, milk, butter, vanilla and salt until well combined. Add noodles.
  • Pour noodle mixture into baking dish and bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to sit for 5 minutes before serving.
  • *Can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator.

As with any of my recipes, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly depending on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish.
