Slow Cooker Steak Soup with Noodles

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds sirloin tip roast cut into 1-inch cubes
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 16 ounce package uncooked broad noodles

Instructions

  • Combine flour, salt and pepper in a zip-top freezer bag.
    ¼ cup all-purpose flour, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon pepper
  • Add beef cubes and shake to coat.
    3 pounds sirloin tip roast cut into 1-inch cubes
  • Sautee beef in hot oil in Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
    2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Cook until browned then place in bottom of slow cooker.
  • Mix beef broth, ketchup and onions in a bowl.
    1 small onion, 1 tablespoon ketchup, 4 cups beef broth
  • Pour above mixture over beef.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours until beef is tender.
  • Add noodles to slow cooker and cook an additional 20 to 30 minutes until noodles are tender.
    1 16 ounce package uncooked broad noodles
