This slow cooker teriyaki beef and broccoli recipe is perfect! Beef strips are cooked slowly in a savory homemade teriyaki sauce until tender, then served with steamed broccoli florets on a bed of white rice.
1 ½lbsbeef top sirloin steaksliced into ½ inch thick strips
2tablespooncorn starch
¼cupcold water
4cupsbroccoli florets steamed
Instructions
Combine the first 5 ingredients in a slow cooker.
Add beef and stir to coat. Cover.
Set slow cooker on low and cook until tender. Six hours on low or four hours on high.
In a small bowl whisk together cornstarch and water until smooth. Add to hot liquid in slow cooker and stir.
Cover and cook until teriyaki sauce has thickened, about 30 minutes.
Serve over hot rice and topped with steamed broccoli.
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
