Slow Cooker Teriyaki Beef and Broccoli Recipe

This slow cooker teriyaki beef and broccoli recipe is perfect! Beef strips are cooked slowly in a savory homemade teriyaki sauce until tender, then served with steamed broccoli florets on a bed of white rice.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 ½ lbs beef top sirloin steak sliced into ½ inch thick strips
  • 2 tablespoon corn starch
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • 4 cups broccoli florets steamed

Instructions

  • Combine the first 5 ingredients in a slow cooker.
  • Add beef and stir to coat. Cover.
  • Set slow cooker on low and cook until tender. Six hours on low or four hours on high.
  • In a small bowl whisk together cornstarch and water until smooth. Add to hot liquid in slow cooker and stir.
  • Cover and cook until teriyaki sauce has thickened, about 30 minutes.
  • Serve over hot rice and topped with steamed broccoli.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
