5 Android Apps For Earth Day ~ Going Green with My HTC One
In honor of Earth Day 2014 I went on a search for some Android Apps to help me Go Green {or greener} with the help of my HTC One.
Since my HTC One is my constant companion {one of them!} it's with me everywhere I go. You never know when your going to need some 'green' helpers and these apps will help you navigate the green waters {in this case green water is good...no hidden alligators}.
1. GreenPower Free Battery Saver ~ While my HTC One is great on energy usage sometimes you find yourself using up your battery pretty quickly {especially when traveling} and this app is a good one to have on board. It's fully automatic {once configured} and manages your Wi-Fi, Mobile Data, Bluetooth, GPS and more.
2. iRecycle ~ This app will help you find recycling centers locally where you can recycle batteries, electronics, hazardous waste, etc.
3. GoodGuide ~ Did you ever wonder if the products you were buying were safe, healthy, green and socially responsible while you shop? You know...while you're in the store getting ready to put it in your cart? This app contains a bar code scanner for on the spot info.
4. Go Green Eco-Directory ~ This is a mobile tool for finding green products, services, companies and organizations.
5. Go Green ~ great for getting green tips on the go helping you to be "part of the solution".
