Christmas Home Tour 2017

Vintage silver with fresh greens and mini vintage ornaments

Hello and welcome to this year's bHome Christmas Home Tour.

I am so glad that you stopped by.  Today, I'm sharing little bites of my Christmas Decor....nothing huge and fancy, just some of my favorite things of the season.

Before I get into all the details, I wanted to let you know that every member of the hop is a bHome blogger and if you want to be inspired subscribe to the bHome newsletter - you can also enter for a chance to win a $250 Gift Certificate from our sponsor French Garden House! Scroll to the bottom of this post for all the details!

It's the Little Things

Silver with fresh greenery

When I am antique shopping if I find a lonely silver creamer, sugar bowl without a lid, or a tray, I feel the need to buy it.  I like to let them tarnish up a little and then add some fresh greens from the yard into them and surround them with miniature vintage ornaments and bursts or white lights.

They look so pretty tucked here and there through the house.....

Christmas Trees

When it comes to Christmas Trees, I like lush....chubby and loaded with ornaments.

Some of the ornaments on the tree are newer but some are precious from years past.....oh the memories they hold.

Some years, I lavish the tips of the branches with tinsel....everytime a bell rings, an angel gets its wings....a tree with tinsel reminds me of It's a Wonderful Life....perfect, vintage, wonderful.

A Comfy Spot to Sit and Ponder

I think a chair with a throw and pillow is always a necessary element for Christmas....even if it's just to sit in and listen to Christmas Carols or to gaze at a Christmas Tree all lit up.....

Lots of Mugs

I like to keep lots of festive mugs and candy canes on hand for guests or times when I just need a hot cocoa.

What are some of your favorite musts for Christmas decor? Now for the hop!

  4. Mary Beth. Love your mug display. I also love the organic linen Napoleonic bee ruffled napkins at French Garden House. I'm a sucker for beautiful linens in general. Please let Lidy know I followed her on Facebook because I had never seen her shop before and I love her stuff. Thanks!
