Juggling Chickens ~ A Cute Kid's Craft
I love cute things no matter what they are ~ puppies, kittens, crafts and kids (not in that specific order) 😉 I was looking for something to occupy my youngest son during the first week of summer vacation and found this cute idea ~ juggling chickens.
You could make 10 of them (two sets of five) and use them for a bean-bag tic-tac-toe game ~ I still have to do that but I do think it would be super adorable....or you could just make 3 and insist that your child learn to juggle!
These are fun to learn to juggle with or just throw back and forth ~ think Hot Potato!
Supplies:
Larger scraps of fabric
Rice or beans for stuffing the chickens
Needle and thread or sewing machine
Sharpie
Felt
Cut rectangles of fabric 4 inches by 8 inches ~ fold in half right sides together.
Cut out beaks and hair ~ freehand cut them so that each little chicken is unique.
Place hair and beaks in between the layers of fabric as shown.
Stitch around all sides leaving a small opening to turn right side out......
Stuff with rice and hand sew the small opening shut and add eyes with a black Sharpie.
Now PLAY!
