Pottery Barn inspired Simple and Adorable Farmhouse Christmas Tray with lots of Christmas mugs.

Sometimes I'll see something either in person or online and I just keep thinking about it.  That's what happened with this Farmhouse Tray.  I saw one on Pottery Barn that I thought was absolutely adorable and I already had almost everything I needed to copy the look so that's what I did as part of this Modern Farmhouse Tray Blog Hop.  After you read through my post 🙂 head to the bottom and see everyone else's trays plus I included a link to my inspiration so you can shop the look for yourself.

I started with a basic three-tiered galvanized tray.....

And lots of mugs! I had most of the mugs already but I did buy two more at Target a few weeks ago - the two speckled ones above.  The Santa and snowman ones are from the Dollar Tree and the others I have had for a few years.  The cute snowman in the back of the top photo is my favorite....such a cute little smile. Farmhouse Style Tray - Pottery Barn Inspired

Then, I started layering! I added a Kitchen Towel (Hearth & Hand/Target) to the bottom along with black striped napkins (Heart & Hand/Target as well).

And kept going.

I added some faux greenery, candy canes,

Some bottlebrush trees I dyed two years ago,

And my favorite mug, of course.

And here was my inspiration plus links for similar items.  I still think it's adorable and I am hoping to get a few reindeer mugs in the future.
