Valentine's Day Love Letter Banners

I love decorating for Valentine's Day and banners and bunting are among my favorite items to decorate with.  I have some banners from a few years ago that I never posted.  These were made using scrapbook papers and ribbon.  I used my Cricut to cut out the heart shapes and LOVE letters which I then wove the ribbons through.  I also added some glitter dots to some of the hearts ~ talk about simple and quick.  {The felt heart and ribbon bunting is one that I made last year.}

This year I made a banner using some coffee-dyed book pages {I made some flowers using this technique of aging the pages and will have the post up next week in case you want to check out how easy this is to do!}  I used glitter paint to write the letters on the pages, an xoxo stamp to add some interest to each page edge, some red heart doilies {from the Dollar Tree}, pom-pom ribbon from the dollar bin at Michael's, and some waxed paper sheets from the clearance section at Joann Fabrics.  I used double-sided tape to secure the doily to the waxed paper sheet and the book pages to the doily and then I attached the letters to the pom-pom ribbon with clothespins.

So what is your favorite decoration for Valentine's Day?
