1. Painting a Room

When painting your house is an investment, not just an expense

One of the more obvious projects you can go for is to paint a room. There are plenty of reasons why that’s the case. It’ll have a significant impact on how the room looks and feels, and it’s relatively quick and easy to do. It’s just a matter of picking the right color - or colors - for a room, and there’ll be nothing to worry about.

Your home’s stairs can often put up with a lot of wear and tear, which is why it could be worth putting some effort into. Thankfully, this doesn’t mean needing to replace too much or give it a complete overhaul. Instead, it could just be a matter of installing DIY stair runners or something similar. It’ll be easier than you’d think.

Your doors, cabinets, and similar areas will all have a little bit of hardware on them, like the doorknobs. These can always be great areas to focus on with a small DIY home improvement project. They’re relatively easy to replace, and you could end up adding more visual appeal to them. With how easy it is, it’s worth trying.

It’s natural to have quite a few photos you love, as well as a bit of artwork. These don’t always need to be scattered around your home, though. You could always create a gallery wall for all of your special memories and artwork. With the right layout, it’ll add a lot more character and visual appeal to any room.

5. Landscaping Your Garden
