Home for the Holidays Christmas Home Tour 2014

Home for the Holidays Christmas Home Tour

Welcome to my home! I am so happy to be sharing some of my Christmas decor with you today.  I still don't have my big tree up ~ I know....Christmas is only a few weeks ago ~ but when I do get it up I'll add it to this post just in case you'd like to see it.

Until then, I'll share with you what I do have done.

Christmas coffee table with greens, lantern, fur throw and pine cones from cupcakesandcrinoline.com

This is the coffee table in my living room.  I have had the white glass bowl for years and usually only pull it out for Christmas.  I filled it with some faux greens and some fresh cut greens from the yard.  The pine cones are ones I bleached last year, the lantern, faux fur throw and white metal container are all from Ikea.

White Christmas tree on faux fur footstool

I did have this white tree by my chalkboard wall but I'll be putting my big tree over there in a few days ~ this little tree was a clearance item from Michael's and I placed it on a faux fur stool from Wayfair.

Christmas Decor ~ Vintage Christmas Photos on Clipboard from cupcakesandcrinoline.com

This is the area next to my desk ~ I have a clipboard on the wall with vintage black and white Christmas photos held in place with mini wooden clothespins and some feathers my youngest son brought in from the yard attached with washi tape.

Above the clipboard I have this shutter with a rusted bell wreath.

Below the clipboard I have this little tree {I'll probably be adding some ornaments to this} that got from the dollar spot at Target {$3).

On the dining room table I have a runner that I got over 10 years ago from K-Mart and atop that a vintage dresser mirror with a milk glass pedestal bowl on it filled with (gasp) plastic ornaments in silver, white and green.

To the right of the centerpiece is a milk glass vase from the thrift store filled with more fresh evergreens from the yard.

To the left of the centerpiece is this white deer {I can't remember where I got him} and just because I like lights I put a strand next to him for this picture {behind him are some of my boys' school books ~ I tried to keep the table clean for the pictures....but!}.

So pretty, Mary Beth! The first thing that caught my eye was the faux fur you used on your coffee table. It looks so cozy and makes a great backdrop for a Christmas display. Like the others said, your milk glass filled with greenery really looks nice. I've got a few spots that need a little something before Christmas and I just may copy this idea!
