How-To Make an Adorable Boo-Lerina Halloween Pillow
Add some cute to your decor with this adorable Halloween Boo Pillow in 15 minutes!

When do you start your Halloween crafting and decorating? I start my crafting in September and keep going sometimes until Halloween Eve 😉
Today, as part of Craft Lightning - this time around it's 15 minute Halloween Crafts you can make with Cricut - I'm sharing this adorable Boo Pillow.
How To Make an Adorable Halloween Pillow
My inspiration came from the Cricut Design Space.
Supplies:
Iron or Easy Press
Thread
Orange Fabric for Pillow
Tulle
Ribbon

I started by cutting the pieces for the iron on using my Cricut and the Design Space.

I then cut my pillow pieces to make a pillow, ironed them well and then adhered the iron-ons BEFORE sewing my pillow together.

I decided to make my own pillow; a simple envelope pillow. I have directions on how to do that in another post that you can find here.

I inserted a pillow form and there you have it....the inspiration pillow, BUT, I kept looking at it and thought that maybe, just maybe, it needed to be a Girl Ghost going trick or treating and that's when I grabbed a few items from my stash for her costume.

I cut a small piece of tulle, approximately 4 inches by 48 inches, grabbed some pink stick-on rhinestones, and a pink ribbon for her hair.

My ideas was to make her a ballerina or in this case, a Boo-Lerina!

I folded over about ½ inch on the top of the tulle and then did a quick running stitch which I gathered for her skirt. I adjusted accordingly to fit across her "waist".

I used a glue gun to attach a pink bow to her head, a rhinestone bracelet to her wrist, and the tutu to her waist.

And here she is all ready for trick or treating!

I have her sitting on a chair by my other Halloween Décor just waiting for the big night.

p.s. Do you see the primitive pumpkin to her left? I made that with my Cricut as well and will have that tutorial up later in the week.

Mary Beth... in comparison to your Boo-lerina... the Boo ghost is so ordinary. You truly made her extraordinary and of course with a little bit of "crinoline." 😉 Great job. I'd love to experiment with a Circuit. My fingers are crossed for a win. 😉
Thank you, Diane, and I'll cross my fingers, too! You would do amazing things with one, I'm sure. <3
This is so cute! Such a great idea!!!
Thanks so much, Beverly!
My daughter would love Boo-llerina. She's all about the bling these days! Fingers crossed for the Cricut. Feel like I'm the only one left in the world without one!! Visiting from Project Inspired party.
That new Cricut looks amazing. I had an original Cricut for years and finally upgraded two years ago....now I want the Maker!
This is absolutely adorable!
Thank you so much, Angie!

Love the cutest little pillow. A cricket is on my bucket list so that would be awesome if I won! So glad you offered Pinterest since I am not on Instagram.
