DIY New Year's Eve Party Kit

I'm sharing a New Year's Eve Party kit that is easy to put together and is perfect whether you are entertaining a house full of guests or it's just a small affair. I have a confession to make. I have never been to a New Year's Eve party...ever! When I was young I spent New Year's Eve with either my parents, or if they were going out, with my grandma. After that, I was home with my own kids for New Year's Eve. Even so, I always try to have some fun appetizers and eats, a great punch and of course, party supplies. 
You only need a few items to make these party kits: confetti, balloons, hats, foil horns and foil squawkers. 
Start by adding some fun tape to the rim of a mason jar - I used some holographic tape because I was going with a glittery theme. 
Next, layer your jar contents: confetti, balloons, foil horns and squawkers.
And there you have it.....
a New Year's Eve Party Kit in just minutes. Now all you have to do is hand out some hats and you and your guests will be all set.

What a very cute idea!!!...Actually, as the years go by, we have loved spending a quiet evening at home or dinner out with close friends here for dessert. Love this idea as a parting gift too!
