New Year's Eve Party Kit
DIY New Year's Eve Party Kit
I'm thrilled to have you here for a New Year's Eve blog hop that will get you ready for the big day in no time! Today is the first day of the hop - check out all of the blogs and bloggers below {scroll to the bottom of this post} to follow along each day as new and fun ideas will be shared.
I'm sharing a New Year's Eve Party kit that is easy to put together and is perfect whether you are entertaining a house full of guests or it's just a small affair. I have a confession to make. I have never been to a New Year's Eve party...ever! When I was young I spent New Year's Eve with either my parents, or if they were going out, with my grandma. After that, I was home with my own kids for New Year's Eve. Even so, I always try to have some fun appetizers and eats, a great punch and of course, party supplies.
You only need a few items to make these party kits: confetti, balloons, hats, foil horns and foil squawkers. Start by adding some fun tape to the rim of a mason jar - I used some holographic tape because I was going with a glittery theme.
Next, layer your jar contents: confetti, balloons, foil horns and squawkers.
And there you have it.....a New Year's Eve Party Kit in just minutes. Now all you have to do is hand out some hats and you and your guests will be all set.
What a very cute idea!!!...Actually, as the years go by, we have loved spending a quiet evening at home or dinner out with close friends here for dessert. Love this idea as a parting gift too!
Thank you, Shirley. Happy New Year to you and your husband. Hugs, mb
Great idea to make a party kit for each guest, Mary Beth! I've only been to a few New Year's Eve parties in my life, mostly when I was younger. Hubby and I just aren't big New Year's fans. But I do love your idea!
Thank you so much, Jennifer! Have a Happy New Year. xo, mb
