Rustic Holiday Decor
It's time for another Mason Jar Monday and today I'm sharing a simple way to capture a look that's trending right now - Rustic Holiday Decor. It's super easy to make and you probably have almost everything you need already on hand but in case you don't I've included links (affiliate) to similar products to the ones I used. What you can't buy you can probably get from your own yard or from a neighbor's if you ask nicely.
These are extremely versatile and you can also use them as diffusers, candle holders or vases. I could also imagine these at each place setting for a beautiful Rustic Holiday Tablescape.
Supplies:
From the yard: greenery and dried seed pods
Remove lid from mason jar and fill with potpourri.
Replace standard lid with the diffuser lid.
Cut your greenery to the right size for your jar.
Wrap twine around the lid and secure greenery and dried seed pods.
Apply Mod Podge with glitter to the tips of the seed pods.
Display!
I told you this couldn't be any easier! After I made this one I was thinking about how pretty these would be at each place setting for Christmas dinner and if you're having guests they could serve as place holders and gifts to take home.
What a great idea Mary Beth! I would love to receive something like this for a gift.
Thank you so much, Diane. xo
So very pretty, love that you can make these with items at home. I agree they would look great at a table setting or as a take home for guests.
