Hello! I am so glad you're here for this month's installment of The Cooking Housewives. At the bottom of this post are links to all of the other delicious recipesGraphic that states the Cooking Housewives

This month's theme is Italian Food which is one of my favorite categories EVER!

The recipe I'm sharing today is extremely versatile. You can make it for a family fun night, family dinner, or for a party. It's a great appetizer, too! It has cheese and bread so to me, that makes it almost perfect. If there was any way that chocolate could fit in here, I'd be in heaven. 😉

I added Marinated Sweet Yellow and Red Roasted Peppers and Roasted Bell Pepper Strips and Caramelized Onions to my standard cheese bread recipe and the end result was a sweet, tasty, rich and cheesy bread that was gone within minutes (no leftovers ~ sigh).

3.  This is just to taste ~ no measuring required ~ scoop out as much of the Mezzetta peppers from each jar as desired mix together and coarsely chop.

I didn't drain these as the marinade adds a smooth flavor to the cheese bread.

4.  Add the chopped Mezzetta peppers and onions and cheese to the butter/mayo spread and mix just until blended.

5.  Cut the Italian bread in half lengthwise.

Sometimes, I don't like to use ingredients I'm not familiar with, like the jarred peppers in this recipe, but I'm so glad I did. They added an awesome flavor to a very simple recipe!
