What's your style when it comes to home decorating? I've shared my thoughts in the past about feeling in a funk when it comes to decorating. My house seems to reflect chaos but when I look at blogs, through the pages of magazines and on Pinterest I always seem to be drawn to the same two styles - Farmhouse French Style and Shabby Chic.
A few years ago I came across Cedar Hill Farmhouse (Anita Joyce's Blog) and I had an aha decorating moment. Every detail of her home was well thought out and amazing. I must say, though, that even though I knew what I liked I didn't know how to get from point A (the realization) to point B (creating the look in my own home) but that's were Anita's book, French Accents: Farmhouse French Style for Today's Home will be my guide.
The book is absolutely overflowing with expert tips for decorating the Farmhouse French Style weather you're a beginner or a decorating pro and there is no need to be overwhelmed. You can either start with baby steps or a full blown makeover with ideas to help you every step of the way.
I have a digital copy but the book is filled with so many amazing pictures that I'll probably ask for it as a Christmas gift - something about beautiful hard-copy books speaks to my soul.
If you've pondered your decorating style, found that it's Farmhouse French, and you want to start the process of decorating in that style, then this book is definitely for you - if you would like to order the book or visit Anita's lovely shop (with gorgeous items for sale) you can do so by clicking here.
So what's your style? I'd love to hear about it.
