Last Minute Father's Day {Homemade) Cards & Gifts Roundup

Father's Day is just hours away but it’s not too late to make some great cards and gifts for Dad.  I made this card using my Cricut and the Cricut Craft Room. 

This weekend they have several FREE templates for cards for Dad including this barbershop one ~ my husband has a collection of DE Razors and uses a brush and soap when he shaves {although right now he is throwing me a total curveball and growing a beard!?!} ~ so this was the perfect card for him.  I cut the card according to the directions and then made another cut to use it as a stencil for a Graphic Subway Art version of the Shaving Card.  I used a 6 inch by 8 inch burlap panel from Idea-ology, District Market by Tim Holtz {purchased at Joann Fabrics}. 

I adhered the stencil to the burlap using  Elmer’s Craft Bond and then stippled black craft paint onto the canvas.
