In the Kitchen

Cinnamon Sugar Toast ~ those words just roll off my tongue.  My boys and I love it for breakfast or a snack and it is so easy to make with some basic fresh and tasty ingredients.

Brummel & Brown Spread #BRUMMELBROWN #AD

All you need is a good quality bread, the cinnamon sugar mixture {see specifics below} and a delicious spreadable topping like Brummel & Brown.

 Cinnamon Sugar Ratio #BRUMMELBROWN #AD

 The Perfect Cinnamon Sugar Ratio:

¼ cup sugar {I prefer to use Kane Sugar but you can substitute white sugar if desired}

1 tablespoon cinnamon

Mix well and store in an airtight container.  This amount seems to last forever at my house!

All you do is toast up your bread, spread on the Brummel & Brown goodness and then sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture.

 Brummel & Brown and Cinnamon Sugar #BRUMMELBROWN #ADI prefer to use Brummel & Brown spread for a lot of reasons.  It has 50% less fat and calories than butter, no cholesterol and is made with nonfat yogurt which gives it a smooth and creamy taste AND when I spread it on the freshly toasted bread it doesn't rip the bread to shreds or crush it {see how pretty it is in the pictures above?} ~ it glides on like a dream!  It also has 0 grams trans fat and no partially hydrogenated oils.

When I made this for my boys today my picky teen asked what I did differently.  I almost flinched but told him I used Brummel & Brown to which he responded,  "make it this way again....it's really good".  SCORE!

Don't think you're limited to just using the Brummel & Brown as a spread.  You can also use it in recipes.  For more ideas and other tips on it's versatility check out the Brummel & Brown facebook page here.

I really like that the Brummel & Brown is made with nonfat yogurt and I can use it in so many different ways.  How would you use the Brummel & Brown spread in your day-to-day meals?
