What is an Eco-Friendly Laundry Detergent Sheet?
Eco-friendly laundry detergent sheets are small, thin, pre-measured and pre-cut detergent sheets that dissolve easily in water, even cold water. They contain a variety of natural plant-based ingredients and essential oils such as tea seed oil.
These plant-derived ingredients provide
Environmentally Friendly
The best eco-friendly laundry detergent sheets are made from natural ingredients which means that they do not contain any harsh chemicals that can be harmful to the environment when released into waterways or soil. Additionally, because they dissolve more quickly than traditional detergents this makes them an excellent choice for those who want to reduce their carbon footprint while still getting clean clothes!
Also, there is no plastic waste or plastic pollution because there is absolutely no plastic packaging involved.
My Experience
This is a sponsored post but, as always, all opinions are my own.
Truly eco-friendly alternatives aren't easy to find so when I had the opportunity to try Kind Laundry I jumped at the chance.
No only was I happy to try the product after reviewing the details on their site but I wanted to make sure that it worked just as well as conventional laundry detergent before sharing my opinion here with you and, it does.
I tried it first on a load of workout clothes. My oldest son is an amateur boxer and his gear always needs an extra boost to get them clean and fresh smelling.
I should note that the focus on clean isn't my only priority. When my oldest was younger he suffered from debilitating eczema, allergic reactions, and problems with skin irritation so my #1 goal is always to find
Most of the time I do large loads of laundry so I kept true to my normal laundry routine for my 'test'.
I placed the load in my washing machine drum and used only ONE of the detergent strips on top of the clothes.
I set my washer to cold water and let it do its thing. As a side note, I have extremely hard water and that can make getting laundry clean a bit more difficult.
Once the wash cycle was complete, I placed the laundry in my dryer as usual throwing in some wool dryer balls to speed up the drying process (trying to save more energy).
When the clothes were dry I began checking them out! The first thing I noticed was the texture of the material. I usually feel a bit of a pull (for lack of a better explanation) when I run my hands over the clothes to fold them and this time, there was none.
The clothes felt overall smoother, which makes me wonder if my previous liquid laundry detergent had been leaving behind a film of sorts. I also noticed that the color was more vibrant (perhaps because any reside was gone), and, most importantly, they were clean with a wonderful fresh scent. NO more funky workout odor.
Kind laundry also has a stain remover stick which works great on tough stains. I used it on a a white shirt that my nephew spilled spaghetti sauce on and the stain came out after washing it twice previously and not being able to remove the stain entirely with detergent pods.
I haven't tried it on underarm area stains yet but if you're looking for an easy way to get rid of deodorant stains, you can check out this post that's filled with tips and formulas to get out even the most annoying of yellow sweat stains!
More Reason to Use Eco-Friendly Laundry Detergent Sheets

Overall, it's a great choice if you want to make the move away from traditional laundry detergents and toward a more sustainable lifestyle.
And, I'm not the only one who is impressed with Kind Laundry, it was Awarded "Best Eco-Friendly Laundry Detergent" by Better Homes & Gardens!
