How To Save Money Without Even Trying (much)

I have been on a real money-saving kick lately, which is a good thing but I always somehow had the idea in my head that saving money was hard. I envisioned sitting at my dining room table with stacks of coupons surrounding me, envelopes everywhere and a brown accordion file to hold all said coupons.

In my mind's eye my family was laughing and giggling while watching our favorite TV shows and I was in the dining room sorting coupons for toilet paper and toothpaste. If this is you, I admire you, I honestly, truly do. I have never had the patience for extreme couponing or any kind of couponing for that matter but recently I found out that you can save money with Groupon Coupons and the process is pretty much effortless.

I've used Groupon before, often, for the deals that get emailed to me but I had NO idea whatsoever that there was also an everyday coupon option. According to Groupon, "Groupon Coupons is a partnership between Groupon and over 9,000 national retailers with the aim of passing savings along to customers."

There are coupons and deals for Home Depot. I need two new commodes, OH JOY, so I'll be grabbing a coupon before heading out.

There are coupons for Macy's and I'll be sharing these with my oldest son, he needs some new clothes to wear to work (that makes me feel so OLD when I say that!).

There are coupons for Target - I'll be using some of these this week and so many more places including Hotels.com, Overstock.com, Footlocker.com (back to school!) and as a total MOM side note, my oldest son just bought a $200.00 pair of shoes there....if he just knew about these coupons first.

So, you get the idea, these are just a very few of the stores that offer coupons through Groupon.
