You and Me - Sweet and Simple Heart Pillow
If you love your Cricut grab a cup of coffee or tea and spend some time being inspired! For today's post I'm sharing my You and Me - Sweet and Simple Heart Pillow.
A few years ago I saw a cute little pillow that became my inspiration for the one I'm sharing today.
It's simple to make and only requires basic sewing skills and a Cricut.

Supplies:
Pillow Blank - I use a drop cloth to make batch pillow blanks (you can find the tutorial here)
Pillow Form - for this pillow I used a 16-inch form since that's what I had on hand but you can certainly go as small as 12 inches with this design
Red Cricut Iron On Vinyl
Black Embroidery Thread and Needle
Iron
Black Sharpie Pen
Scrap piece of cardstock or lightweight cardboard for template
I started by making this design (right-click to download for reference) and I'll also be sharing a matching Greeting Card and Gift Tags soon)
Using the design above I set my Cricut Design Space for the circle (heads) and triangle (dress) for my sweet little couple.
I used a scrap piece of cardboard to cut out the designs,
and use the negative for my templates eyeing up placement on my pillow.
I used the Sharpie to create dash lines for the dress, heads, arms, legs, and balloon strings. Tip: I used the edge of the cardboard to get my lines straight.
Once all of my markings were in place I used black embroidery floss to do a simple embroidery stitch to create my outline.
I then set up my Cricut for the iron on hearts (see dimensions above).
I cut my hearts and ironed those into place and that was all there was to this Sweet and Simple Heart Pillow.
What a cute design! Love the simplicity of it.
