If organizing is something you are striving for today I'm sharing the newest item in my organizing arsenal.
Right before Christmas, I decided to redo my desk and open up the area. I got rid of towers, a shelf and a huge file cabinet that held my printer and all of my folders and more. I wanted to create an area with minimal clutter so I could think more clearly {cluttered space/cluttered mind}.
It has made a huge difference but that choice left me with a lot of desk supplies that had no place to go. I didn't want to have my entire desk surface covered in files, tablets, bills, pencil and pen holders and more so I needed to find a solution that was neat and could be put away if I needed to open up the space even further.
Last Mother's Day I told my family I wanted a Råskog utility cart from Ikea in turquoise and I got it. It took me almost a year but I finally put the cart together a few weeks ago and organized my office supplies using the cart.
The clutter that was all over my desk is now neatly held in this fabulous cart. I have my planner, binder and notebook all easily accessible along with paperclips, tape, note cards, twine and pens on the top shelf basket.
The middle shelf holds some craft supplies, colored pens and markers and my headsets while the bottom shelf holds some CD's, hand lotion {I always need my hand lotion close by), nail files, my Rolodex and password keeper. Nothing is etched in stone, though, as I find that I've continued to adjust what I have where based on what I found I needed and used most.
Here you can see the before (top photo) and after. Everything is so much neater appearing and I even have room for my antique illuminated globe on the desktop. Yay!

I've had one of the Raskog carts for about a year now, use it in my craft-sewing room, and absolutely love it. It currently holds my Project Life cards and all the other things I use with Project Life. I really like how you've used yours.
