Breakfast Burritos - How to Have a Less Hectic Morning
Are mornings in your house hectic? They are here for me and sometimes I feel totally caught off guard by preparing breakfast. I know.....it's something that happens every day so how can I feel caught off guard, right? But....I am. I find most days I throw something at the kids that is quick but not necessarily good....until now! This past week I was traveling and when I got home I really wanted to serve the family something great my first day back and luckily I found #ElMonterey Burritos. Oh, my, heavens....they are delicious and perfect for my family ~in this case.....#momwins ~ woot!
I bought the 12 pack of El Monterey egg, sausage, cheese & potato burritos because my boys like to eat (and eat and eat and eat) and this way I have enough for at least two breakfasts (probably more but I'll be on the safe side and say two) and right now there is a $1 off coupon to use when purchasing a multi-pack.
Each burrito is individually wrapped which means I don't have to worry about freezer burn and I can get out exactly as many as I need. They are a great source of protein and are made with REAL scrambled eggs....no powdered ones here!
The El Monterey Breakfast Burritos cook in the microwave in 1 minute and 30 seconds and then you'll need to let them sit for 2 minutes.....in 3 minutes and 30 seconds you have breakfast ~ ca-ching. It takes me longer than that to make eggs and toast for sure.
I made the Breakfast Burritos in assembly line fashion and left them in the wrapper to stay warm so that everyone could eat together. I added some fresh blueberries to the plate and the kids were all set for a great start to the day.
Could your mornings use some less stress? 😉 I'd love to hear any tips you have for keeping things moving along smoothly.
