Whipped Cream and Cream Cheese Frosting
I made some white batter cupcakes this weekend and wanted to top them off with some white icing. Something simple but not my usual favorite Buttercream Frosting {my mom's recipe which is absolute fluffy perfection}. Whipped cream seemed to easy.....cream cheese frosting too blah but combining them both produced the recipe below which is light and tasty!
📖 Recipe
Ingredients
- 8 ounce package of cream cheese ~ softened
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups whipping cream
Instructions
- Combine softened cream cheese, sugar and vanilla extract in mixer and beat on medium speed until fully blended and smooth.
- With mixer on medium high speed slowly add the whipping cream stopping the mixer to scrape the sides occasionally.
- Whip until stiff peaks form. The peaks will be slightly more substantial than a normal whipped cream peak.

*Don't you love the missing icing in the top left cupcake? I left the room for one minute and some little person decided to swipe a taste! ; )
