Ball® Elite Collection Mason Jars
Hose Clamp and screw to attach it to the plaque
Adhesive paper - I found mine at the Dollar Spot at Target
Wooden Plaque - Michael's
ArtMinds Simply Surfaces Wood Shape Made With Love - Michael's
Waverly Chalk Paint - Maize
Paintbrush
Saw tooth picture hanger
Paint the edges all around and the rim of your wooden plaque with the Chalk Paint.Unroll adhesive paper, lay plaque on top and trace around the edge. Use scissors to cut out.
Apply adhesive paper; smooth out any bubbles and trim with an X-Acto knife
.
Paint round wood shape with Chalk paint. Once dry use a wood burning tool to go over the words, etc., to make them stand out a bit more. This isn't necessary but did add some dimension to the wood.
Attach the wooden plaque with glue or a glue gun and attach the hose clamp with a screw.
Attach a saw tooth hanger to the back for hanging.
Place water and flowers into the jar and you're all set!

Oh my goodness! That is the prettiest plaque! I love the colors you used and it is the perfect spot for placing spring flowers. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
So lovely MB! I had never heard of that Waverly paint-- how pretty! The plaque is such a great idea and it looks like you executed it perfectly. Pinning!
This is such a great way to add fresh flowers to home decor!
That wall hanging is precious Mary Beth!! Pinned!
This is just beautiful and I love the backing!
I thought you painted and stenciled the wood! The paper looks gorgeous with the jars! And I love the little sign up top, it's the perfect touch.
I LOVE this Mary Beth! You didn't miss a single detail... the pretty yellow paint to go with the adhesive paper which is perfect with the pretty jars! And the wood piece that you re-burned and I LOVE that it fits on the jar top too. That in itself would make the perfect gift if you didn't want to give flowers. Thanks for all the wonderful inspiration! [hugs]
Love everything about your craft! The contact paper is so pretty, and using the burning tool to create some dimension is a great idea! I like the color of the jar as well!
Thanks for sharing at Sweet Inspiration, we're so happy to have you!

What a beautiful idea Mary Beth! Mason Jars are one of my favourite items to decorate with and the blue ones are so cool. I also like the wooden board you attached to it to make it a wall hanging, it all looks so happy! Thank you for sharing at Sweet Inspiration#1!!
