Chocolate Crinkle Peppermint Cookies

These cookies are so much easier to make than they look.  I found the idea on BHG but I changed up the recipe just a bit.

First, I used my chocolate crinkle cookie recipe as a base but didn't put the crushed peppermint candies on the top.....other than that, the recipe is exactly the same.  You could also just buy plain chocolate cookies to save that step and you can make these melting snowman cookies in minutes with no baking at all if you go that route.

Ingredients:

1 pound white chocolate candy melts melted according to directions on bag

mini chocolate chips

mini peanut butter cups cut in half

orange sprinkles

1.  Melt white chocolate according to directions and spoon over top of cookies to resemble melting snow.

2.  Before the hardens add half a mini peanut butter cup as the snowman's hat, 2 mini chocolate chips for eyes and an orange sprinkle as the nose.

That's it!  I was having a hard time getting everything in the place I wanted with my bare hands so I used tweezers and that helped immensely!
