All-Natural Body Butter - Keep Your Skin Hydrated
How-To Keep Your Skin Hydrated Naturally
Are you battling dry skin this winter? Every winter my skin gets so dry and itchy it's annoying. In the past I've used different moisturizers and they worked okay but this year I wanted to try something all-natural for my body. I wanted it to be something my husband and boys could use as well and this simple to make body butter fit the bill and our skin feels smooth and silky. It's so easy to make and only requires about 5 minutes of hands-on time.Supplies:
½ cup coconut oil
¼ cup shea butter
2 tablespoons carrier oil such as grape seed oil
5 to 10 drops essential oils
Melt coconut oil and shea butter in the microwave for approximately 90 seconds or until melted.
Add carrier oil and essential oils. Combine.
Refrigerate until firm, 30 to 45 minutes.
Remove from refrigerator and using a stand mixer or hand mixer whip until fluffy, about 3 to 4 minutes.
Place in a mason jar, seal, and store at room temperature. If it's above 70 degrees the body butter may start to separate and refrigeration will be necessary before that happens.
Now to Hydrate the Skin on Your Face, Neck and Chest
*This is a sponsored post for Socialstars and RoC® Multi Correxion® 5 in 1 Chest, Neck and Face Cream. I'm happy to share my opinions with you and how I'm using this wonderful product in my everyday life. #WomenWhoRoC
Now that we have your body taken care of it's time to do something special for your face, neck and chest. Years ago I did something SO STUPID. I used a chemical peel on my neck that severely damaged the skin. Since that time I've had small fine vertical lines (GRRR) on my neck. It's something that is hard to hide. My husband says I'm the only one that notices them but I think he just says that to be nice. In any case, a few week sago I started using RoC® Multi Correxion® 5 in 1 Chest, Neck and Face Cream. I noticed a positive difference within a few days. The lines are far less noticeable (yay!) and my skin is starting to show signs of restored elasticity and firmness.
Here's an updated picture of me but you should know that I have been sick for over a week so my face is puffy and according to my husband I may scare you because you can't see the whites of my eyes...I do have normal eyes but they're squinty especially when I smile and with being sick they are even more squinty! 😉 But, look at that neck - no retouching there and the fine lines aren't noticeable(the rest of my face, yes, I retouched...I had some red blotches -that's what happens when I get sick...I get blotchy...it's a true joy I tell you and they had to go!). Overall, I couldn't be happier with the results I'm seeing from the RoC® Multi Correxion® 5 in 1 Chest, Neck and Face Cream and I can't wait to continue to use and keep the positive results coming.
I love when products do what they're supposed to, don't you?

Thanks for your input about Roc. I have been looking for something new to try so I can see results. I can't wait to try it.
Your recipe looks creamy and soothing. Another thing for me to try, too 🙂
Thanks so much, Meegan! As far as the RoC I could see the difference right away but when my husband told me he noticed a difference I was really thrilled because he's a detail person (me, not so much!). Have an awesome weekend. xo
