Burlap and Deco Mesh Wreath

If you saw my Jack o' Lantern post from the other day you saw the tiara my little pumpkin wore that also doubles as a wreath. I promised you the tutorial for the tiara/wreath so here it is ~ it was super easy to make and I really like the way it turned out. You could keep it simple, like mine, or make more bunches of the orange curls and make a fatty pumpkin wreath.

Supplies:

1 roll of Deco Mesh Orange

1 roll of Deco Mesh Green

Chenille Stems

1 roll of FloraCraft Burlap Garland

18 inch wire wreath

1. Cut the Orange Deco Mesh into 9 to 12 inch pieces, roll each piece tightly and pinch the center of 4 rolls together in the center and wrap with a chenille stem. You'll make 8 of these bunches.

2. Do the same thing with the Green Deco Mesh but you only need 4 pieces/1 bunch of the green {this is your pumpkin stem}.

3. Gently bend the wire wreath into an oval shape if you want the wreath to look like mine or leave it round as is.

4. Attach the green group into the top center of the wreath wrapping the chenille stem tightly to the wire.

5. Attach 4 orange groups on each side of the green group.

6. Wrap the burlap from one orange side to the other side of the wreath overlapping slightly as you go along so that all the wire is covered.

I still have the horrid stink bugs hangin' out at my house so I'm keeping the wreath inside for now {the stink bugs like to 'hide' in nooks and crannies and they would love these curlies}.
