My nephew and his wife keep me up to date regarding food….sort of sad but true!  They travel a lot for both business and pleasure and have friends all over the place.  When they come home from trips they fill me in on what’s new.  I travel between my kitchen to my laundry room to my office corner {yes…my office is in the corner of the living room} so there’s not much of an opportunity for me to experience new foods unless I make them myself.  Recently, my nephew’s wife came home from a trip to San Francisco and told me about this dip.  It has chocolate chips, its sweet and you can serve it with cookies so I was all ‘up’ for trying it out.   I have seen similar recipes on pinterest but until I got a personal recommendation I was hesitant to make it.  I served it a few weeks ago at a get together and everyone, especially the kids {that’s code for me}, really liked it.  I used animal crackers, graham crackers and shortbread cookies as the dippers.  This is pretty sweet and the recipe below serves 12 easily.
