You've Been Boo'd

Have you ever been boo'd? I haven't but I have boo'd myself...odd, I know 😊 but my family liked it...and in this post, I have the details you need to start this fun tradition and the free printables so you can boo friends old and new!

What does, "You've Been Boo'd" mean?

To be boo'd is a fun, and social distancing acceptable no contact, Halloween tradition where you secretly deliver treats (no tricks!) to neighbors or family members and they in turn, BOO two people and it goes on and on (remember the Faberge shampoo commercial from the 80's...anyone???) Anyhow, it's fun - seriously!

You'll have as much fun gathering all of your BOO supplies and then secretly leaving them at the home of your BOO recipient as they will getting their BOO kit.

Fill your BOO bucket with candy and snacks and any other little treats. I think that adding a DVD of a fun (not too spooky) Halloween movie would be a great idea!

My gift still isn't complete but yours certainly could be! All you'll need to do is stealthily deliver your gift and leave it on your recipient's doorknob or front porch.

Since this will be given to a family with kids I wanted to add one more thing to the kit; something to carry all their Trick or Treat loot in.  Since I know from past Trick or Treating (I have 3 sons....they love candy) that plastic bags just don't cut it when it comes to holding all of their candy I added a T-Shirt to Tote Bag.

The T-shirt tote bag will hold a TON of candy and the way I constructed it, it can be used as a t-shirt again after Trick or Treat is over.

T-Shirt Tote Bag - Perfect for Trick or Treat

Supplies:

1 Kids Size Large T-Shirt - glow in the dark makes it even more fun!

Colorful ribbon for handles

Sewing machine and thread

Instructions:

Turn your t-shirt inside out and stitch the sides of the T-shirt straight down from the top to the bottom leaving sleeves intact.

Stitch across the bottom of the t-shirt.

Turn right side out and add ribbon to shoulder/neckline area for carrying.  Roll your tote bag up and hold in place with the ribbon handles - add to your BOO kit.

Once Halloween is over remove stitching and ribbon and use as a T-shirt once again!
