Easy DIY Polka Dot Pumpkin

White pumpkins have become increasingly popular in recent years, and many people have been using them to create unique and eye-catching decorations.

I was inspired to purchase a white pumpkin during a trip to Michael's. My original plan was to keep it simple by gluing some fabric mums to it and placing it in a wreath of silk autumn-colored leaves. However, I ended up buying rhinestone tape and adding it to the pumpkin, which led me to creating a polka dot rhinestone pumpkin with black scrapbook jewels.

To create this polka dot pumpkin, you will need a few supplies:

Supplies

Self-adhesive Sequin tape in silver

It's important to have all of your supplies ready before starting your pumpkin project. This will ensure that you have everything you need and won't have to stop in the middle of your crafting to go buy or order more supplies.

To make a polka dot pumpkin, start by selecting a pumpkin of your choice. It can be a white pumpkin, a black pumpkin, a plastic pumpkin or even a chalkboard pumpkin.

Next, attach the self-adhesive rhinestone tape following the natural pattern of the pumpkin creases. You can either do every crease or every other crease.

Finally, add a random pattern of the scrapbook jewels/rhinestones to the pumpkin and that's it! You have a very chic polka dot pumpkin that can be displayed throughout the fall.

OMG! Rachel will love that! She loves anything that sparkles. I bought her one of those hot fix crystals guns and several hundred crystals. She has been wanting to try it out on something. I am going to look for a pumpkin today for her to try it out on. Great idea! I would never have thought to put them on a pumpkin. Once again you have inspired!
