I had been seeing white pumpkins around lately and decided to buy one the other week at Michael’s.
My original intention was to decorate it keeping it simple by gluing some fabric mums to it and then putting it in a wreath of silk autumn-colored leaves but………that didn’t happen.
At that same trip to Michael’s when I purchased the pumpkin, I also bought rhinestone tape.
I had no idea what I was going to do with that but it caught my eye and I bought it. While the pumpkin was sitting on my desk waiting for something to happen, I had the idea to put the rhinestones on the pumpkin.
One thing led to another and I decided to make it a polka dot rhinestone pumpkin. I had some black scrapbook jewels
and added those in a random pattern around the pumpkin and voila – a polka dot rhinestone pumpkin was born.
