3-Ingredient Trifles
3-Ingredient Trifles
I really like 'options'....lots of options~even when I cook and bake. I like to mix and match and not be tethered to doing things a certain way....I am a REBEL {with NO cause whatsoever~I just like to rebel!}. This trifle recipe fits the bill to a "T". You can customize it to your preferences. I am making this for St. Patrick's Day {hence the green pistachio pudding} but being that my oldest son is allergic to nuts, I am also making a a fat free chocolate pudding version for him and me ~ he doesn't need the fat free but I do. While this is NOT a low-cal recipe little tweaks here and there can help make it a little bit of a healthier option.
Easy 3-Ingredient Trifles
1 frozen prepared pound cake, thawed and cubed
1 box of instant pudding and the milk necessary to prepare it {as per package directions}
1 - 8 ounce container Cool Whip - Fat-Free or Full flavor/ the choice is yours!
Garnish, nuts, chocolate shavings, whipped cream, chocolate chips, strawberries ~ pretty much anything your heart desires 1. Prepare pudding according to directions on package.
2. In individual parfait glasses layer pudding, pound cake cubes and whipped cream.
3. Garnish as desired! That's it- quick, easy, and totally customizable.
This looks yummy and simple to put together! Love the pistachio pudding for St. Patrick's Day!
OOOOOOO!!! Yummy! I have all the ingredients on hand to make the chocolate one! I think I am going to make this up this week for a special dessert for the family. 🙂
