Sweet and Salty S’Mores
I am not a huge fan of s’mores….I know, there aren’t many of us around but I am one of ‘those’ people. When we have a fire in the summer and everyone gathers round and gets excited when it’s time for s’mores I pass…..I lovingly make a s’more but then let my kids fight over it {it wears them out so they leave me alone}. I LOVE chocolate, I like marshmallows….graham crackers (GAG ME).
A few weeks ago I was at Aldi’s and saw these adorable heart-shaped marshmallows in pink and white. I bought them. I thought about making s’mores but the thought of the graham crackers….again…gag me.
I had some Ritz crackers…..those are AWESOME.
I had Hershey Kisses. I almost ate them all but then…. (insert lightbulb sound) I got to thinking….what about using the Ritz crackers INSTEAD of the graham crackers. Hmmmmmm…..
So I began the assembly (after taking pictures because gosh darn this is all so cute).
Ritz cracker on the bottom, squishy marshmallow on top of that and then top it all off with a super cute Hershey Kiss.

Ingredients
Ritz crackers or other buttery round crackers
Marshmallows ~ if using standard marshmallows cut in half
Hershey Kisses
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line baking sheet with aluminum foil ~ trust me....this will make clean up so much easier.
- Place Ritz cracker on bottom.
- Top with marshmallow.
- Add Hershey Kiss.
- Bake for 8 minutes. Cool for 5 before eating ~ you don't want to swallow a blazing hot marshmallow torpedo.
So what do you think? Sweet and salty or traditional?
