Thanksgiving Kids Crafts ~ Pilgrim Hat Crayon Holder Tutorial
Pilgrim Hat Crayon Holder
Today I have a 'first-time' guest poster ~Little M. My little guy wanted to share an easy to make Thanksgiving Craft for kids. This little Pilgrim Hat Crayon Holde is perfect for the kids table ~ M has a lot of experience with eating at the kids table, he's still hanging out over there with his cousins.
{My Guest Poster was trying to be serious for his first post....I could hardly stand it ~ that face just cracked me up!}
Items needed:
Small paper plates {Dollar Tree}
Craft Foam in color{s} of your choice
1. Cut rim from plate.
2. Remove bottom of cup ~ I helped with this step as it was a bit tricky.
3. Free hand cut buckle from craft foam. It's easiest to fold the foam in half when cutting.
5. Center cup over paper plate and glue in place then add glue to the back of the buckle and gently add to cup.
6. Make extras for your buddies and add crayons once dry.
The inspiration for this awesome creation was found in the November 2012 edition of Family Fun magazine.
