A Way to Help Victims of Domestic Violence

Domestic violence is not a pretty topic to discuss but so many are affected by it. Most of the time, we don't even know who is suffering from it. The abuse is hidden because of fear, embarrassment, shame or countless other reasons. When we hear the statistics, 1 in 3 women, 1 in 4 men and more than 3 million children in the United States impacted by domestic violence per Verizon, it can seem staggering to think that there is anything we can do to help but there is.
The Verizon HopeLine provides a way for individuals like you and me to make a difference easily. The program allows you to donate no-longer-used wireless phones and accessories in any condition from any service provider. Verizon turns these resources into support for domestic violence organizations and programs nationwide. Instead of letting your old phones and devices sit in drawers you can donate them and make a difference.
The process is easy. You can drop off your phone at a Verizon Wireless retail store near you or print out a pre-paid mailing label and drop off your phone in the mail.
