New England Pot Roast - Best Easy Meal

Family meals are so important. I have read many studies and heard news reports about how family mealtime is an important part of the family experience. It's a time to talk, share and spend time together.

The dish is served on a white plate with a decorative design, with a slice of bread in the background. A small decorative pumpkin is also visible in the background.

Our family has almost every dinner together {waiting when necessary for everyone to be home at the same time} but my biggest problem is What to Cook???? As a working mom I find that most nights the quick and easy route is the one I take and that doesn't always translate to good old-fashioned home cooking.  I work on Sundays but that is still the one day of the week that I try to make something Sunday Dinner worthy and thanks to Kraft Recipe Makers that's easier than I ever imagined.

A box of Kraft Recipe Makers featuring the New England Pot Roast flavor. The packaging highlights that it includes two cooking sauces and a recipe, specifically a farmhouse-style brown gravy finishing sauce and a classic herb simmer sauce. The front of the box shows an image of the prepared pot roast dish with vegetables. The packaging also indicates that it is a slow cooker recipe serving 7 or more people and includes a "New!" label in the top left corner. The net weight is displayed at the bottom of the box.

This past Sunday I had to work as usual but spent 15 minutes {yes, just 15 minutes!} before work preparing this delicious New England Pot Roast.  It honestly was so easy that I couldn't take all the compliments for it later that night when my husband, the boys and I had our special meal.  I came clean and let them know that all I needed was a box of Kraft Recipe Makers and the ingredients listed right on the back of the box: a roast, red potatoes, carrots and an onion {Am I the only one that forgets my shopping list at home most of the time??? The back of the box list of ingredients was a lifesaver for me}.

The Kraft Recipe Makers come in several flavor combinations with the options of Slow Cooker, Skillet or Oven and each box offers several recipe options.
